On the Beaufort River, 6 minutes from downtown and 20 minutes from Parris Island! This family home, designed and built in 1955, has been lovingly restored to its original 1950’s charm. With 4 bedrooms (1 queen, 1 full, 4 twins), 2-1/2 baths, (1 with walk in shower) it sleeps 8 or more comfortably. Located in quiet Pigeon Point, it offers a large living room, intimate dining room, and cozy den. Spacious kitchen with reclaimed wood floors features an electric range, dishwasher, microwave, and two refrigerators. Washer and dryer in laundry room just off kitchen. A large screened porch offers water views or stroll down the 200 foot dock to a roofed gazebo on the creek, and a large floating dock encourages swimming during warm weather months. Any time of year you may catch a glimpse of herons, egrets, or marsh hens. Or for that matter another type of "bird": F/A18s or F35Bs from nearby Marine Corps Air Station Beaufort. Summary: Pictures do not do it justice! The home is absolutely gorgeous! Location is perfect! We had the best time here! We loved spending time on the dock crabbing.
