The Craftsman Cottage" sits overlooking the Beaufort River, part of the intra-coastal waterway. The cottage is very private. The front bedroom has a king-sized bed, the middle bedroom has two twins, and the back bedroom has a queen bed. The cottage includes two bathrooms, both with walk-in showers, one with a shallow tub, both remodeled in January 2023. There's ample parking for three cars. The private shaded garden to the side of the cottage includes patio table and chairs. A short walk or bike ride to the restaurants & shops. We proudly do our own cleaning and maintenance. As seasoned travelers we are aware what an excited guest is hoping to experience, and we strive to please.

Summary: From the first initial contact until the very minute of departure, Jackie & Duncan were the best hosts anyone could ask for. The Cottage was beautiful and the amenities provided were so much better than a hotel. The location was perfect, quiet and so very welcoming and relaxing. I can tell you that this is a fantastic getaway and a home away from home! I would HIGHLY recommend anyone searching for a location to vacation or just relax in Beaufort, South Carolina, this is the place to stay. You will not find better hosts than Jackie and Duncan. Thank you for a wonderful experience! I will be back.
