Summary: I absolutely loved this place! It was rustic and charming. The check-in was so easy, as was check-out. Communication from the owners was terrific. The location was quiet and it was nice to sit on the porch and listen to the creek. The outside of the cabins might need a little TLC.
The bonus was the history of this place! People used to come from all over in the late 1800's and early 1900's to drink water from the spring, which was said to have healing properties. The hotel that used to be there burned down, but the cabins remain. What was cool was that I read about Healing Springs (the old hotel) in a museum display years ago and it was such a a cool surprise to learn that these cabins are one in the same. I would definitely stay here again and I've already recommended it to friends.
Oh! And you can go get yourself some water from the spring while you're there!

Summary: Solo trip. The place is lovely. The drive to restaurants and other locations is about 30 minutes. Falling asleep to the stream is wonderful.

Summary: The cabins at healing springs are as the name goes, healing. 😇 cozy, quaint, Appalachian charm. The actual spring water is iron and mineral-rich. Took home a few gallons and should have stocked more. My dog loved the property as well. Don’t forget to utilize their fire pits to roast marshmallows and gaze upon the Appalachian night stars and constellations.
