Our historic home at Lake Lanier is an idyllic lake house still owned by the same family who built it in the 1940s. With fresh indoor and outdoor living spaces, it is a well-maintained, clean classic place to make memories with your loved ones. The house has 5 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, kitchen, comfortable den, broad porches upstairs and downstairs, and a downstairs laundry room. The house is comfortable year-round with central air and heating upstairs plus two heating/cooling mini-splits downstairs. As you may gather, the strength of this classic family house is charm and atmosphere. Come stay for the authenticity if not the luxury. However, it is clean and has everything you need to make memories to last lifetimes with your loved ones.
The house is on three lake lots with a long lakeshore. The boathouse is a great place to hang out and the perfect platform for accessing the water for boating, swimming, floating, and wading.
The water in Lake Lanier flows down from Hogback Mountain, which is one of the 3000+ foot mountains that makeup the backdrop of the lake. This lake is a wonderful place for swimming in the mornings when the lake is calm and, in the afternoons, for playing when the boats and jet skis come around.
