Get away today to this beautifully crafted post and beam log cabin 15 minutes from downtown Boone! Enjoy one floor living with open concept floorplan featuring an open kitchen and living room. Cooking in the kitchen is a dream with the beautiful live-edge slab countertops. The cabin's large living room offers a stone woodburning fireplace and lots of south-facing windows taking in the view and allowing plenty of natural light. Kick back on the covered rocking chair porch on the front with southern exposure and enjoy the mountain views.
Time for bed? The cabin has two bedrooms: a master bedroom suite on the main floor with King bed and a private bath with a pedestal soaker tub and walk in shower. There's also a laundry room and second bath also on main level. Upstairs you'll find another bedroom with Queen bed and beautiful overhead beams.
This beautiful cabin is situated just minutes from old Cove Creek, the Watauga River and all the best that the High Country has to offer. Make this your next getaway today!
IMPORTANT NOTES:
- All BRMR homes offer well stocked kitchens with all utensils needed to cook meals. There is also a "starter set" of paper products at the house: a roll of toilet paper per bath, a couple garbage bags, a small vial of dishwashing liquid, a few tablets of dishwasher detergent, some laundry pods, a roll of paper towels, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and some makeup remover cloths. There are enough of these items for one night, or maybe two. We do not provide hair dryers.
- Firewood may be purchased at the time of booking or with a week's notice. You receive two wrapped, kiln-dried bundles and a firestarter for $25 plus tax per night.
- Towels and linens will be provided for you.
- This property is pet friendly for mature, well-trained dogs only. Large dogs are allowed! Please make sure dogs stay off the furniture.
- Please observe a quiet hour of 10PM as there are full time residents nearby.
- AWD or 4WD vehicles are required during winter months. Chains may also be necessary during snowfall.
- Parking space for up to 4 vehicles.
- Returning guests to Cozy Mountain Cottage can receive a 10% discount. Not to be stacked with any other offers.
