There's plenty of parking in the yard for a boat trailer and access for kayaks/smaller boats at the Ward Creek bridge and for larger boats the Harkers Island boat ramp is only about 6 miles away. Down east is home to some of the best fishing and duck hunting in the state, Cape Lookout lighthouse, Shackleford Banks wild horses and only 25 min to the Big Rock weigh in's in Morehead City.
