Nestled among trees in the Cummings Cove Golf Community and overlooking a small segment of the 18th fairway, this open floor plan upper condo of a two-unit building brings the outside indoors with two walls of living room windows and a large wraparound screened porch ready for outside dining. The spacious living room has a cathedral ceiling and a gas fireplace. The kitchen is well-equipped, and the table in the adjacent dining area seats six. Each bedroom has two full/double beds with its own full bathroom and direct access to the porch. Both bedrooms have large closets and dressers. The flooring is hardwood and ceramic throughout with large area rugs. There are HD TVs in the living room and both bedrooms; cable and wifi are included. A comfortable single cabinet bed is stored in Master bedroom closet and is also available.
There are 15 steps down from the parking area to a landing and 15 steps up from the landing to the second floor condo, as seen in the photos of the exterior of the condo building.
Renters have access to the golf course for modest guest green fees, access to all other sports facilities including: outdoor swimming pool; weight and exercise rooms with scheduled classes; tennis courts (one hard and two Hartru/clay); four pickleball courts and two bocce courts. Within 45 min. one can drive on the Blue Ridge Parkway, hike, and cool off at Sliding Rock in the Pisgah National Forest, and bike in the Dupont State Forest and Biltmore Estate. A little further is the Green River for kayaking and tubing, Mt. Mitchell, the highest peak east of the Mississippi, Lake Lure and Chimney Rock Park. There are over 200 waterfalls in the area.
