The Summer Shade Inn is a beautiful 3,300 square foot home located in a quiet Stillwater Creek neighborhood. The house is located one mile from the Food Lion shopping center, local restaurants and shops. Conveniently, located three miles from two full service marinas - Eaton Ferry and Northampton.
The home includes a variety of indoor and outdoor items designed to entertain guests of all ages, in all types of weather conditions. Outdoors you'll find lounge chairs, fire pits, pedal boat, three paddle boards, two kayaks, splash island and corn hole game. Inside includes pool, air hockey, foosball and ping pong tables, two large TV's with DVDs and and gaming system. The house is also equipped with high speed internet.

We have now completed our sixth year of inviting guests to share our lakefront home. This year our home has hosted single couples looking for a romantic get-away. Families celebrating anniversaries, birthdays, engagements and reunions. A large number of guests simply wanted an opportunity to reconnect with friends and family. Other folks are looking for rest and relaxation, swimming, fishing and boating. While still others have enjoyed winery tours, golfing and hiking at nearby parks.
We have appreciated the insight provided by our guests that has helped us improve the experience for each subsequent guest.
For those who are planning a vacation for the summer of 2021, understand that calendars fill quickly – many of our guests lock-in dates a year in advance.
Remember that Lake Gaston has incredible weather throughout the year - my family was boating in late fall this year, with temperatures in the mid-70's.
