The property
Escape to the Cabin @ Mirror Lake. Located in the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains this serene rustic cabin located on a private lake is a great get away experience. Relax, feed the fish, listen to the frogs sing, work away from home, walk thru the hardwoods just a nice quaint getaway. Remote work friendly. Cabin is one room with king bed, sitting area, tv, gas fire place, small limited kitchen is not suited for preparing large meals. Large outdoor seating area with hammock and sound bar. Decent wifi at around 60.
The space
This is a one room cabin with a large outdoor seating area. Mainly geared toward rest and relaxation. Beautiful serene setting on a private lake.
Guest access
You can access the cabin, deck, hardwoods walking trail, dock and feed the fish in the private lake. No fishing or swimming allowed.
Other things to note
Private lake where you can sit and enjoy nature, feed the fish the provided fish food but No fishing and No swimming is allowed.
The cabin has a limited use kitchen which basically allows use of refrigerator and microwave.
Cabin is a 35 yr old rustic family cabin. Clean and quaint but rustic.
Pilots wishing to fly and make use of the adjoining grass airstrip will need to bring your own tie downs. Please note guest can use the adjoining grass airstrip at their discretion. We do not give permission to take off and land. The airstrip is not supervised and landing is solely the responsibility of the pilot. With that said the use of the grass airstrip is free.
