Rosie’s Ridge is a serene mountaintop retreat located less than a 7-minute drive from downtown Highlands, North Carolina and right across the street from Old Edward's Half Mile Farm. The home offers 4 bedrooms, 3 full bathrooms, a living room with vaulted ceilings and stone gas fireplace, a back deck with long range sunset views, a wraparound front porch, and more.
To reach Rosie's Ridge, you will feel transported as you drive up the wonderfully paved one-way road to the top of a mountain. Because the road is a one-way loop, you won't need to worry about how to maneuver around incoming traffic - a standard concern on residential roads in Highlands! The road is easily accessible spring through fall - no special car required! When you reach the top, you'll find yourself enjoying the sounds of nature, spectacular sunsets, and cool breezes on 3 private acres of your very own mountain summit.
Inside the spacious home you’ll find two levels of living space. On the first level you’ll enjoy a dining room, kitchen, laundry room, breakfast room, living room with gas fireplace and vaulted ceilings, ample windows to let in the stunning view, and access to the back porch just off the living room. On the first floor you’ll also find a suite (king bed) with walk-in closet and on-suite bathroom in addition to a separate bedroom (queen bed) and a full hall bathroom.
Upstairs features two bedrooms with queen beds, one cedar closet per bedroom, and a full hall bathroom with double vanity, tub/shower combo, and stained glass window.
