Surrounded by thousands of acres of protected land, the remote serenity is nearly unmatched in the upstate of South Carolina.
Less than 5 miles from Table Rock State Park, the cabin is situated perfectly in the heart of the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Looking for a stay-cation? Enjoy the abundance of stars on a clear night, the rain falling on the tin roof, or the sunset over the ridge of the valley. Ready for an adventure? Travel less than 20 miles/25 minutes to Lake Jocassee or Keowee, Jocassee Gorges, The Foothills Trail, Table Rock State Park, Lake Oolenoy, Eastatoee Valley, countless waterfalls, scenic drives, and so much more. Relax in nature with peace of mind that civilization isn't far away. Less than 15 miles/20 minutes to the growing town of Pickens, SC where grocery and dining needs can be met.
The cabin itself will provide much of its own natural entertainment with its large field for recreation, the fire pit for warm conversation, the Oolenoy River and one of its many feeder streams for the comforting sound of fresh water running over a shoal.
Disclaimer: Please be aware that this is truly a rustic cabin in a fairly remote area, surrounded by some of the most remote land in the entire state. There are several species of wildlife, and this is there home before it is ours. During your visit, you may expect to see various insects, snakes, varmints, wild hogs, the occasional black bear, deer, and more. This property is intentionally manicured within immediate proximity of the cabin itself only. Venturing farther away from the designated cabin area is considered to be at your own risk.
