Within a short walk of The Camp's Pavilion, as a guest at Lakeside Retreat, you will be able to enjoy the exclusive amenities within Camp Lake James for the duration of your stay-take a dip in the pool, explore the lake by kayak, grab a quick bite at the Canteen, curl up by the stone outdoor fireplace, and enjoy community-led activities to your heart's content.
Located just 45 minutes from Asheville in Nebo, this upscale lakefront home is the perfect place to get away and enjoy everything the Lake James area has to offer. Outside of the community, you can spend your days exploring nearby hiking trails like the Fonta Flora Loop in Lake James State Park or High Shoal Falls in South Mountains State Park before grabbing a refreshing craft beer at Fonta Flora's open-air brewery at Whippoorwill Farm. Less than 25 minutes away, you'll find the quaint small town of Marion where you can grab another cold one at Mica Town Brewing Company, fresh seafood and a cocktail at Crabby Abby's Bar and Grille, or a handcrafted dish paired with the NC staple, Cheerwine, at McDowell Local.
