Enjoy the best nature has to offer by taking advantage of outdoor activities, including whitewater rafting, zip lining, horseback riding, hiking, beautiful waterfalls, fishing, and the biker attraction, Tail of the Dragon.
The cabin is semi handicapped accessible, including a walk in shower with a grab bar and built in seat.
The cabin features a large open floor plan with high ceilings and is great for entertaining! The kitchen is fully equipped with a separate dining area. The laundry area has a full size washer and dryer. The great room features a beautiful stone gas log fireplace. The split bedroom plan provides a private large master bedroom with a king-size bed, a desk area, and full bath with double sinks and walk in shower with a built in bench. The guest bedroom, at the other end of the cabin has a queen size bed, a desk and dresser and a flat screen TV. It also has a board game cabinet with lots of games. A rollaway bed is also provided. The cabin sleeps 5 people and is equipped with WiFi internet services. All linens are provided.
The property sits on 1.5 acres complete with beautiful views of the Hiawassee River. The property also touts a fire pit area with plenty of outdoor seating. Guests may also enjoy the community covered pavilion area, complete with picnic benches, fire pit, and grill.
Dogs may be considered. They must be well groomed, no fleas, toenails trimmed, outdoor potty trained and when you leave the cabin without them, placed in their crate.

Summary: Enjoy beautiful sunset views from the porch at this charming, clean and comfortable cabin in Murphy. About 15 minutes to the John C Campbell Folk School, which was the main reason for our stay. Bed was comfortable, shower head A. Well-equipped kitchen, as well as supplies for laundry if needed. Throw blankets appreciated for cool evenings on the porch. Luke called back quickly when we arrived to answer questions about light switches and circuit breaker box (power had been off before we arrived as it turned out). So many cute bear decorations, although, alas, no bear spotted. Would definitely stay here again.
