We are 39 miles from Wilmington, 51 miles from Southport, and 65 miles from Myrtle Beach.
Listen for the sounds of wildlife. Look at a world of waterfowl (mallards, coots, wood ducks, teal, merganser, bufflehead, cormorants, herons, cranes, kingfishers.) Enjoy the beautiful sunrises. Our lakefront house includes 3 bedrooms, 1 bath with stackable washer/dryer, modern kitchen with bar for lunch and a dining table for 4-6 people. You have pier privileges with decking both covered and open for sunbathing or night star-gazing. The shallow water is ideal for young children and we have a sandy beach for play-time. Should you come don't stay too long because you might get “bit” (you may fall in love with the lake and not want to ever leave.) allowed
