Delightful Dogwood Lake Cabin *Kayaks & Paddleboard | Cabin in Stover

Wake up each morning with coffee on one of the three decks overlooking one of the the best kept secrets at Lake of the Ozarks, the private 8 acre Dogwood Lake! Spend the day fishing from the dock or from one of the three provided kayaks or explore the lake on the stand up paddleboard. Don’t worry about waves from boats on a busy weekend because there are no boats on this private lake; it’s as calm as can be. The small swim dock has a nice step type ladder off the side for convenient access into and out of the lake.

The cabin is nicely updated and has two main living area bedrooms, each with ceiling fans and a TV. Bedroom one has a portable air conditioner and a floor fan, along with an adjoining full bathroom with a large corner tub The second bedroom is smaller but has a window air conditioner and a wall fan. The third bedroom is in the basement, which is accessible by an exterior entrance. This bedroom is large and has a lake view, a window air conditioner, a wall fan, a TV, a mini fridge and a small sitting area. It has a small adjoining bathroom with a toilet and sink only.

There is high speed fiber wi-fi available at the cabin. Wi-Fi Calling works great and is needed in this area as the cabin is off the cellular grid.

A renovated Patriot Point Marina/Community Market is less than 2 miles away where you can put your boat in or store it in a slip (call them for availability). Grab a pizza, drinks, play yard games and grab your groceries at the Marina. Or, a public boat launch is less than three miles away. In addition, Wigwam Conservation Department Boat Launch is less than 10 minutes away.

If you don’t feel like cooking, there are restaurants within 5 miles, like The Wet Spot where you can eat and sing karaoke or dance the night away and meet new people. There’s also food options at Surfside Restaurant which isn’t much further. Or, drive 25 minutes into Laurie and enjoy many food options.

Planning a weekend at the new Ozark International Speedway? This cabin is less than 20 minutes from there! Or, looking to spend a weekend on ATVs at the new The Loop ATV park? It’s less than 20 minutes away and we have an extra parking spot behind a gate perfect for your trailer of toys.

Speaking of parking, we have driveway parking for 3 cars, a large carport for one of them and then additional parking for a trailer or car behind a double gate.

Please note our cabin does have a good amount of stairs on the decks but only three stairs up the front porch for loading/unloading. Concrete paths to and from front porch too. It is a gradual walk down concrete stairs on one side of cabin all the way from driveway to water and dock.
