Welcome to Whispering Pines, hosted by Simple Life Rentals! This is an amazing old country-style home with a cottage feel interior featuring large wood beams and an open floor plan home that was once a large barn. A lot of the character has been preserved while adding updated amenities and touches of comfort. There is a large sunroom with lots of windows to let in light, nature, and fresh air. The expansive 5 acre property is complete with hiking trails, old growth forest, birch and pine groves. It is centrally located in Northern Door putting you in a great spot to reach all of the hotspots in Door County and is close to all the beaches and waterfront attractions, dining, and shopping- all within a few minutes' drive.
Relax and enjoy the very quiet and peaceful area with amazing forests and wildlife. You will see turkeys & deer daily. At night you can hear the howls of coyotes. Absolutely pristine lands!
**This is a quiet community with residential neighbors. This home is geared towards quiet family vacations. Due to the proximity of neighbors, we cannot accommodate bachelor or bachelorette parties, reunions or other rowdy gatherings.
About the Owners:
My family and I have been vacationing in Door County since around 1998 when my wife Monica discovered a local destination that would help with my homesickness after relocating from New England. Door County filled that void, and we have been heading up multiple times a year every year since that first trip! We have made decades of wonderful memories in Door County, watching our family grow each year! I have always dreamed of owning our own home in Northern Door where we could enjoy it with our family and friends, but also share the experience with new families venturing out and discovering all Door County has to offer. We truly hope you enjoy our home. We have put a LOT of effort into making it a "home away from home," but also preserve the quaintness/charm, and in-tune with nature feel you get when visiting Door County. Relax, unwind, recharge your batteries, and take it all in!

We provide a starter pack of essentials which includes toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap, dishwasher soap, hand soap and garbage bags. Due to septic systems, we do not provide facial tissue.
We also supply one travel size shampoo, conditioner and body wash per full bathroom.
Due to health and safety guidelines all pantry items must be removed between guests. Please bring cooking essentials you might need such as cooking oil/spray, salt, pepper and other spices, sugar, etc.
