Multiple indoor and outdoor living spaces offering something for everyone. Our home is a classic OIB construction completely renovated with a modern feel. This gives you less steps than the taller new construction homes!
Located at the corner of East 2nd Street and Concord Street. Most guest love spending time on the front covered porch (facing 2nd Street) with view of the ocean and great “people watching” on OIB’s active 2nd Street. The back covered porch is more private and has a relaxing view of the canal, the pool and our dock.
The Canal... For boat-owner guests, the private canal dock provides direct access to the ICW. We built a new all aluminum dock in the spring of 2021. At lowest tide there is water but please operate a boat with caution as the canals can get low in places.
Don’t forget to book your boat charter! It will be an unforgettable evening with your family. Charters can pick you up on your very own private dock and go sightseeing or to dinner at one of the many waterfront restaurants including the historic Calabash. Several options from dinner trips to calabash, sunset cruise, day trip to Bald Head Island, etc, etc.

OIB is one of the safest vacation destinations you will find. However to add security to our property as well as your property and your well being, the house has surveillance cameras in the carport area. Please asked for details and VRBO security rules. One is positioned to cover all front and ground floor entry points as well as vehicles. The other covers back entry points, backyard, pool and dock.
