Summary: Overall, our stay was enjoyable. We had been informed up front that the oven/stove wasn’t functioning properly, so we were prepared to not be able to cook as we might have otherwise done. However, there was an air fryer so that made up for the oven (which I never tested) and at least one eye on the stove did work so I was able to make breakfast and prep our lunchtime meals at the fairgrounds ahead of time. This is a duplex type stay, with only 2 true bedrooms (not three). There was a cot in the laundry room which we moved into the master for our boys to sleep on. We appreciated the access to the fixings for coffee and access to dishes for meals. Beyond that, this was a very bare-bones stay—one roll of paper towels and only 1.5 rolls of toilet paper per bathroom (had we stayed even one night longer this would have been an uh-oh), and no additional trash bags could be located. There wasn’t a can opener, but we made do by waiting until getting to the fairgrounds and using a friend’s to finish that crockpot meal. It was a bit tight for the 6 of us (listing says up to 7), but was still more relaxing than two hotel rooms. Beds were super comfortable, as well as the couch and futon.While not a bad stay, a few more of those little things and a more accurate listing would be helpful in the future.
