The resort transitions to world-renowned mountain biking and hiking trails in the summer. Buckeye Recreation Center is 10 minutes from this cabin, with a playground, volleyball and tennis courts, a fitness area, and Buckeye Lake for fishing and boating. The town of Banner Elk is 15 minutes away, with shopping and great local restaurants. A few other High Country attractions within 20 minutes include Wilderness Run Alpine Coaster, Sugar Creek Gem Mining, Banner Elk Winery, and Sugar Mountain Ski Resort.
