With tons of hiking/biking trails nearby, you'll be able to ride against the cooling breeze below the trees. Enjoy a lovely stroll alongside Lake Fontana (just minutes away), or get your blood pumping at Nantahala Outdoor Center with whitewater rafting! Check out the Appalachian mountain hiking trail close by (just a short drive away), or have the time of your life by tubbing or white water rafting. Enjoy the Deep Creek State Park right at your fingertips, or head to the nearby creeks for native trout fishing/wading.
Once you've explored enough of the local town and its many wonderful attractions, return to your home away from home and walk through the front door to find your slice of serenity.
