Centrally located to the beach life, this remodeled, dog-friendly 3 BR/2BA home is 3 minutes from the beach and less than 500 yards from spectacular sunsets over the Albemarle Sound.
NOTE: Guests will have exclusive use of the home's SECOND FLOOR. The ground-floor apartment is occupied by a family member accustomed to having guests upstairs. There is NO SHARED ACCESS between the two spaces.
This home has been remodeled with comfort in mind! From the spacious en-suite bedroom with walk-in tile shower to hardwood floors and a gourmet kitchen with granite countertops and stainless steel appliances, it will be easy to make this your home away from home.
Our guests can use the full-size washer/dryer during their stay. All linens are provided, and the kitchen is stocked with basic oils and spices. We also offer 4 adult bikes (bring your helmet!), beach chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards and sand toys.
We welcome your four-legged family members. We allow a maximum of 2 dogs (no size restriction). There is a nominal $50 pet fee to allow for extra cleaning before and after your visit. We have a large dog crate, food/water bowls, treats and toys to keep your pups happy during their stay.
Everyone loves the large covered porch complete with a porch swing and seating. Enjoy your morning coffee on the porch or relax after a day at the beach. Bahama shutters and tropical plants make this a relaxing and private space.
Nothing beats burgers on the grill! Guests can relax on the patio under the umbrella shade while the burgers cook. A spare propane tank is located under the stairs.
Feeling like taking a Yoga class or taking a swim during your stay? As our guest, you will have full access to all the OBX YMCA offers at no additional cost (Outdoor pool in season). The YMCA is located in Nags Head, approximately 5 miles from the house. Guest tags are at the house along with more information on group exercise classes.
Going to the beach? We provide a pass to a private oceanfront parking lot just 3 minutes from the house. Parking is on a first-come basis.
Our home's location could not be more convenient! Centrally located in Kill Devil Hills, restaurants, piers, national parks, movie theatres, grocery stores, and shopping are just a short drive or casual bike ride away. A boat ramp provides access to the Sound and is located within a mile of the house.
At the end of the quiet, tree-lined street is a multi-use path that meanders along the sound. It is perfect for a bike ride, run or leisurely stroll to see spectacular sunsets over Albemarle Sound.
