The Woodland Trails Lodge is an upscale B & B now offered for the exclusive used of you, your family and friends. The Lodge is located on 90 wooded acres with over three miles of private trails. Snowshoes are provided for winter hikes. Guests enjoy seeing birds and wildlife out the windows. There is a fire pit outside with wood provided. You will have exclusive use of the house during your stay. Your bedrooms, located on the 2nd floor, will be the Winterberry, Royal Fern and Aspen. Two other bedrooms will be closed off. Each bedroom is pacious with TV, comfortable sitting area, whirlpool tub, electric fireplace and private deck. The Great Room has comfortable seating and a wood-burning fireplace with wood provided. The kitchen is fully equipped. Bring your four-wheelers or snowmobiles. There is plenty of parking for trailers. In Pine County, it is legal to ride on the roadside to a major trail system 1/2 mile north of the the Lodge. While our address is Hinckley, we are located 23 miles east of Hinckley, near the St. Croix River and the Wisconsin border. We are just four miles from Danbury, Wisconsin. We are an easy two-hour drive from the Twin Cities, St. Cloud or Eau Claire and just over an hour from Duluth. Besides enjoying the view, perhaps with a real-wood fire in the fireplace, guests enjoy watching the birds at feeders outside. In Danbury, Pardun Canoe Rental offers canoes and tubes for rent and Throttle RX Rentals has Polaris four-wheelers. There are two casinos, St. Croix Casino in Danbury and Grand Casino in Hinckley. St. Croix State Park, Minnesota's largest, has activities in every season. Crex Meadows Wildlife Area in Grantsburg has great wildlife watching, particularly during spring and fall migrations.
