Positive: Location was very good, across the street from the ocean. View of ocean obstructed because of homes directly across the street, but easy access to beach.

Negative: Needs some repairs/updating. ( environment not comfortable, a little depressing) This is a 2 bedroom apartment with room for 3 people in each room ( was not clear during booking). Very long wooden stairway at inside entrance. Decor non existent, furniture worn. Beds very uncomfortable. Cigarette butts on front lawn. Coffee pot & toaster left dirty from last renters, no umbrella holder on outside table ( just hangs crooked on table). Faucet in bathroom doesn’t function correctly.

Summary: I loved the beach & surrounding area and will return to Emerald Isle, but stay elsewhere.
