Set on a 95-acre parcel of land, this vacation rental features a full kitchen for preparing your favorite recipes, a dining table for eight for meals or family game nights, and a comfortable living area with a cable-equipped, flatscreen TV. Outside, fire up your gas grill and dine in the open air, head out on several nearby hiking trails and waterfall, walk down to Highlands Aerial Park for a wild day of fun, and then return home to gather around the firepit as the stars come out overhead. Don't forget to visit the chamber of commerce for events happening during your stay.
Located centrally between Clayton, GA, Franklin, NC, and Highlands, N.C., this retreat offers a convenient location near festivals, music, arts and culture, and unique shopping! Outdoor recreation in the area includes zip lines, trout fishing, white water rafting and kayaking, horseback riding, tubing, mountain coaster, golf, hiking on designated trails of varying lengths and difficulty, seasonal skiing, UTV guided tours, waterfalls, birding, photography, and off-road excursions. The Barn House is located on 95 acres of the “Summer Pasture” farm, surrounded by 100,000 acres of national forest. Waterfalls, designated hiking trails, 150’ suspension walking bridge, long-range views, meadows, apple trees, all ideal for photo ops and family fun are nearby. Highlands Outpost, located only two miles away, has recently added a mountain coaster to their already snow tubing and ice skating activities for the winter season!
