Summary: My wife and I were looking for a place for some much needed rest and relaxation that allowed dogs. We choose the Rock Cottage for its views and restaurants that were in close walking distance from the cottage. We were not disappointed. The view from the back yard, that was on the water, provided some of the most beautiful sunsets. The sunroom was a very nice addition. It was one of our dog's favorite spots to sit and watch the birds and those dreaded squirrels We often ate out there enjoying the views and the nice breeze. The house was well stocked with linens, towels and the kitchen had just about every thing you would need. Reedville is a very charming neighborhood with some spectacular homes that date back to the 1800's. We were able to relax and enjoy the wonderful town and weather, providing a great place to take our dog for a nice walk. The food at the local restaurants was wonderful, and we were lucky to be there during soft shell crab season. The owners are very nice and went out of their way to help when we lost power during a storm the first night there. Luckily the power was quickly restored. We got a well deserved rest and the owners provided us with a free pint of ice cream from their ice cream store that was right in front of the cottage. We are so looking forward to returning in the fall to enjoy more of the surrounding area has to offer.

Summary: The private backyard is right on the lake. The owner even took my sister, boyfriend, and kids out on his motorboat for an informal tour of Reedville from the lake. The pool table was in great shape and the owner even made sure we had plenty of chalk when I said I was looking forward to playing some pool. The upstairs attic bedroom was like its own apartment so my boys loved having a space that was all their own. The outdoor seating was very comfortable and perfect for watching the sunset over the lake. The place was stocked with jigsaw puzzles and a couple of board games. I highly recommend this little spot.

Summary: My wife and felt very at home during our stay at Rock Cottage in Reedville. The cottage was well equipped. The Bedding is very nice and the views are spectacular. Since Reedville is a Peninsula the sun comes up over the water in front of house and sets to the rear over water. Beautiful!!! The owner Jeff is very helpful and willing. Summary: This home was just what my wife and I needed. Well stocked kitchen. Great side porch and patio. The pier is fantastic. We caught around 50 spot on day one then the weather changed so it slowed down. The owner was very helpful and their ice cream store is awesome. Rode all over the Northern Neck. Can't wait to do it again next year.

Summary: Flawless stay. If you're looking for quiet and beauty in one stay this is the rental you want. Reedville is indicative of a small town as locals are nice, neighborhood is peaceful and view of the water is calming. Go fishing, crabbing off the dock or just watch the local waterman work. The host is very accommodating and present when needed. Home is a throwback in time but also digitally connected. A must stay for a weekend or week getaway.

Summary: My family,5 of us, were extremely pleased with all aspects of our stay. The house was very clean and family friendly, lots of couches and seating areas. It was also a lot bigger than the pictures and description gives credit too. We caught lots of crabs and large spot of the pier, small croakers were abundant this time of year. Just all and all a very wonderful and enjoyable place to stay if you want to get away from everything and enjoy family time. The ice cream at ChitterChats is amazing and you get a free pint. Cannot reccomend enough , 10 out of 10 stars

Summary: This vacation rental will go down as one of the best ever. Jeff is a fantastic owner. Check in was super easy with touch pad locks and he used our phone number as the code, so no worries on remembering a new code. The home is a great private location, in an amazing historic area. The home is in immaculate shape. So new world meets old world. AC was cold and quite refreshing. The home is stocked with everything you need except for your private toiletries and food. Couldn't be more satisfied. The ice cream shop was a nice bonus and Jeff drove us a pint over to enjoy, after he took us on a little boat ride. On the ride he told us some history and some places to check out. Super helpful. It helped us find the Fleeton Seafood shop. They supplied us with some crabs and they even cooked them for us. It was amazing. This will definitely be on our favorite places list. Very near the top for sure. I can go on and on about this place but his description tells you everything that you need to know. Thank you for everything Jeff.
