Have you ever wondered what it’s like waking up in the morning and having a farm right outside your front door? Then look no further then the farmhouse retreat on our private 44 acre hobby farm! The 3bed/2bath family style home sits at the very front of our property over looking our many pastures of animals and the garden! Imagine sitting on the front porch in the morning enjoying your coffee listening to all the birds sing and watching the goats play, the chickens hunt for bugs to eat or the emu taking a bath in the creek. The personalities and characteristics of our wide variety of animals are sure to keep you entertained all day long without ever leaving!! We also love to give farm tours & will allow guests to get a more Hands on experience here on the farm!
We created the farmhouse retreat to feel like a home away from home wether you’re in town on business or looking for a place to escape with the family and spend quality time together. The house features a primary bedroom with a king size bed(sleeps 2) a second bedroom that has a queen and full size bed(sleeps 4) with a full bath attached & the last bedroom that has a full size bunk bed over a full size bed that is able to sleep 2-4 people depending on the weight limit of the top bunk that holds 200lbs max capacity. The large sectional could also sleep up to 2 people comfortably depending on the size of your group! The rental house is only the main floor and DOES NOT include the basement that is attached. The basement is used for storage & will not be accessed by us during any rental stays unless previously approved by the current guest. We use exterior ring cameras on the property One looking at the front entrance to the property and another looking over the animals. This is for the safety of our animals & guests.
We like to think that we are located perfectly in the middle of everything you may want to do or see on your stay to the area. Located right in the middle of apple country (apple szn June- Oct.) We are centered in between chimney rock & downtown hendersonville 20 minutes driving in each direction. The Asheville regional airport is only 27 minutes away. The famous biltmore house is a 30 minute drive. Other local places close in proximity to our house is the gorgeous point lookout winery just a 4 minutes drive. The blackberry vineyard across the street from us grows the most gorgeous palm sized blackberries (spring seasonal) Just 5 minutes down the road we have Danny’s fish’n’camp where you can catch your choice of trout or catfish & fishing pole rentals on site. Directly next door to Danny’s is black bear snow tubing! This is a very popular family fun activity to do during winter season. We are surrounded by the blue ridge mountains, the parkway only and hour drive away! The great Smokey mountains and Gatlinburg only 2 hours away. So many Historic places, breathtaking hiking spots, waterfalls and much much more all jammed packed within an hours driving distance from this house. Pet rules:
-$25 pet fee paid before arrival
-all animals must be on a leash when outside.
-no unattended pets left alone in the house without being in a crate. We have some to borrow. Please let us know in advance if you need one.
-no pets allowed off of the rental property near the animal pastures.
-no pets in the beds or on furniture.
Some family friendly amenities we’ve also included into the house is a travel crib/packnplay , a stroller, a bed side rail , a high chair, and children’s toys, books, puzzles and games!
