A FAMILY DREAM VACATION.
"Sunset Memories" offers 3 bedrooms and a studio bedroom, 3.5 bathroom. Along with high speed Internet, WIFI, cable TV, smart flat screen TVs and blue ray DVR. A large open floor plan makes it great for your entertaining needs. The large outdoor deck with a 2 person hammock swing and deck furniture is a great place to relax and socialize. The gas grill with the outdoor table and chairs is a great place to enjoy family cookouts. The studio on the ground floor can be used as a bedroom at night and a social area with TV during the day. This living area has a queen size murphy bed that folds up into the wall. A bunk bed with trundle as well as a single bed. The main floor also has a queen sleep sofa for an extra sleeping option.

Let your family experience "Sunset Memories" in a beautiful furnished 3000 SF waterfront home. Relax on the canal in the private gated community of Colington Harbor. Regardless of ocean beach conditions due to closures for under toe or heavy surf you can experience a dream vacation on the extra large deep water pier with swim ladder access. Relaxing in colorful Adirondack chairs or enjoying kayaking, canoeing, paddle boarding, fishing, crabbing, swimming, biking or watching the beautiful sunrises and sunsets. We offer for your outdoor enjoyment 3 paddle boards, 2 tandem/single seated large Ocean kayaks, 2 smaller single seat 150lb Kayaks , a 16' Mohawk canoe and 7 bikes. We also offer a 16' Carolina Skiff with Tow tub for a weekly rental of $300.00. In addition we also offer a Sunfish sailboat at $100.00 for the week. If you wish you can launch your boat or Jet Ski at the community boat ramp and tie it our floating dock. A boat ride to the historic town of Manteo in your boat for lunch or dinner would be fun. The community boat ramp is available to you for a launching fee of $25 for the week or $10 a day. A short bike ride of about a mile to the community center offers many amenities, saltwater swimming pool, tennis courts and a basketball court. A shallow sandy beach on the sound is a perfect place for small children to enjoy, including a playground and a covered picnic area. The ocean is 3 miles away at the Kill Devil Hills ocean lifeguard station beach. With free parking, bath house and public ocean access. The community pool is open from Memorial Day into September weather permitting
The front door of the home opens into a spacious open great room. The front of the home starts with a very large kitchen and island bar. The open dinning area has a 12 seat dining table and a special 4 chair children's table. The large open living area includes a half bath, 2 sofas a sofa hide a bed, and a recliner. This room is perfect for entertaining as well as watching your favorite shows or movies on a smart 50" flat screen TV . Your family could also take a walk thru the full view glass door to a spacious 24X16 deck with conformable cushioned deck furniture as well as 2 very comfortable Adirondack chairs. Relax and let the chef cook your delicious dinner on a gas grill and eat outside at a 8 chair patio table covered by a 9' umbrella. Then enjoy a swing on the 2 seated swing hammock while you are overlooking the canal and watching as the many boats and kayaks go by. You can experience the southerly breezes and the full view of the moon and all the stars in the galaxy. This can only be described as breathtaking.
From the main floor you can walk up a large enclosed carpeted 1/2 spiral staircase to the main sleeping area. The master bedroom includes a king size bed and a flat screen TV. In the morning when you awaken you must walk through the sliding glass doors and enjoy the beautiful sun rise on your private 12'X18' deck and relax. The deck furniture includes 2 colorful Adirondack chairs. The large master bath includes a toilet, double vanities, walk in shower and a large jet tub.
Also on the third floor are 2 bedrooms each having queen size beds. The rooms are connected by a Jack and Jill bathroom with a toilet, double vanity and a tub/shower. The laundry room with front load washer and dryer are also located on this floor.
On the ground floor you will find a large studio living area. With two sofas, a table with 6 chairs for playing games and a 65"smart flat screen TV, This room offers entertainment and sleeping accommodations with a bunk bed ,trundle bed, twin bed and a queen size murphy bed that can be stored into the wall. The full size bath has a toilet, one vanity and a tub/shower. This room also has A/C and heat as well as the rest of the house. Outside the sliding glass doors you will find a relaxing hot tub or an invigorating outdoor shower. If you would like. Walk down to the dock and relax on the canal. On increment days enjoy the game room with a 7' air hockey table, 7" pool table and a ping pong table.
The Outer Banks offers many activities: stores, outlet mall, unique shops, restaurants, bars, movie theater,18 hole golf courses, bowling, putt putt golf ,skateboard park, go cart cars, fishing piers, offshore deep sea fishing, bike rentals and more.

Please note this is a 7 day Saturday to Saturday weekly rental during peak season.
RENTAL PAYMENT TERMS: 50% Of the rental amount is due with signed rental agreement to secure week. The remaining balance and security deposit is due 45 days prior to arrival to reserve home.
