Get ready to sit on the front deck, across the street from the Intracoastal with your family and friends. Two Queen Comfy bedrooms, two full bathroom in Sunset Harbor adjacent to Oak Island. Our community is very safe, traffic free, with amazing sunsets. 15-20 minutes from Oak Island Beach depending on traffic and how you drive. Our community offers a 24/7 free boat launch/fishing pier, a two minute drive, our Intracoastal beach is also within walking distance. We provide beach toys, chairs, bicycles in our out building. The Retreat features two queen beds and a cozy living room with a sofa bed, perfect for relaxing after a day of adventure. The soothing atmosphere invites you to unwind, while the superb layout ensures comfort throughout your stay. Whether you’re curling up with a book or sharing stories in the living area or on the deck enjoying your favorite beverage listening to the waves crash on the beach of Oak Island which is adjacent to the intracoastal waterway. The kitchen has just about anything you could need, two charcoal grills are also available. This enchanting retreat feels like a true home away from home. Spend your day exploring Southport, Oak Island, Myrtle Beach, Wilmington or take the ferry to Fort Fisher then come home to our enchanting community to enjoy a sunset, dinner at FelixCafe, or take a walk to look for dolphins. No traffic, peace and quiet. You’re sure to make fantastic memories with a stay at our place. We are pet friendly, one dog, must be friendly, leashed when outside, cannot be left alone for more than three hours at which time must be crated. This is their vacation, being left in a strange place is inhumane. Oak Island, Southport and surrounding areas are all fur baby friendly.
We don’t charge a cleaning fee, in return we appreciate our guests leaving The Retreat as clean and organized as when you arrived. If additional services are required you will be billed for services. In seven years everyone has been great!
