Perched deep in the woods near apple orchards, the Biltmore Estate, and Lake Lure, this sunny log cabin features 4 bedrooms (2 queen upstairs, 1 queen and 1 bunkbed set downstairs), 3 baths, upstairs and downstairs living areas with televisions, a well-stocked kitchen, and a ping-pong table in the garage. It's a great set-up for families with kids.
Enjoy the rocking chairs on the covered back deck as you look out over a wooded hill with winter views. The covered front porch supplies a picnic table and charcoal grill for outdoor eating.

The dirt road portion is about a 5-6 minute drive and do-able in regular cars, except in icy conditions, when it is best to have an SUV or 4-wheel drive. (We regularly drive up in a Toyota Prius or Dodge Mini-Van and have no problems, but we go slowly. It is important to remember that this IS a mountain dirt road!)
