Secluded 3 story 4br 2 bath. surrounded by 1200 acres of virgin woods In fact ,. it is not my thing but its so isolated you could go nude even down by the river. The bears won't mind.. The cabin is accessible with my Prius. Gorgeous view of 5 mountains ,true peace and quiet cabin. It was built in 2021, 3 story all hickory wood interior and cathedral ceiling. Lake Lure is 13 miles Tiec is 9 miles,Ashville airport 40 mins , Parker Binn vineyard 5 miles Alexander ford.hiking trail 3 miles , Grays boat ramp 5 miles. All major stores such as Walmart and engels close. Activities include hiking , fishing, panning,kayaking and tubing. Kayaking is 2.5 hour trip down river to grays ramp . Good cell service so you can call cabin which is only 5 mins away for pick up . I suggest you watch the Video for the walk to the river and kayaking to Grays ramp to see if its within your capabilities.The walk from the cabin to the. mailbox is a good way to get warmed up.It is all down hill to River which is 800 feet approximately but cannot be seen from cabin due to thick woods. The walk back up hill can be a bit strenuous. Recommend you watch Video of walk to the river before attempting it if you have health or endurance issues. Walking sticks a must for safety if going to the river or anywhere. There is the Halfway bench for rest stop going back up. The river bank is always changing but the river is accessible but you need to be careful accessing it.Civil war road runs along the river. Hard to walk property without startling deer or turkey. Picturesque walks on Civil War road thats follows broad river. Allegedly Civil war Battle held on my land , which explains musket ball creases. Creek on the side of property which my grandkids love to find find semi precious stones pan for gold and chase newts.Also about 2 miles is Alexander Ford historic revolutionary hiking trail ..Easy access to property from main road, close to Greenville, Charlotte and Asheville airports. 15 min from Rutherfordton, 10 miles from Tryon Equestrian Center, Chimney Rock, Lake Lure and Bat Cave. FYI My land is surrounded by 1200 acres of virgin woods so expect to see all range of animals. .I go here to improve my endurance and heal from surgeries. I am a 71 year old retired physical therapist ast. and this property has unusual healing properties: the soft clay does wonders for my bad knee, . My alkaline spring water is unbelievable. I always try to leave with as much water as I can.
The Cabin has spectacular views and true peace and quiet in the Blue Ridge Mountains on Historic Broad river .
