Lovingly shaped by four lifelong friends, this cabin is made for family and friends with free spirits to gather—those whose idea of happiness is losing themselves in a good book on the front porch or sharing memories around the fire pit as the sun goes down.

Four lifelong friends came together to shape Folklore Hill, and every touch of it—from the artwork to the original wooden beams—comes from the heart of who we are. We wanted to build a home that would inspire creativity, and one that brought in touches from the culture around us.
In the open living area, come together here in the morning to sip coffee over a trail map and plan the day’s escapade. Get inspired by local farm stands and whip up something special in a fully equipped kitchen or on the back porch BBQ—there’s room around the dining room table for the whole group.
When it’s time to say sweet dreams, rest up in the queen-size primary bedroom or a bunk bed with twin-over-full. And though this is cabin living, it’s far from rustic— get ready for the day ahead in a spa-chic bathroom, where you’ll also find a washer and dryer.
We’ll venture a guess that some of your favorite moments at Folklore Hill will be spent swinging by the firepit with a cold drink in hand or finding solitude on a spacious front porch that looks out over lush green forest.
We four friends deeply love east Tennessee. It’s where our story of friendship began, and we hope Folklore Hill becomes an inspired part of our guests’ stories, near and far.
Folklore Hill does offer Wifi via Starlink. The internet service can be spotty however emailing and browsing the web should not be an issue. We recommend enabling Wifi calling on your smart phones as cell service can also be spotty depending on your carrier.
For entertainment, there is a 55 inch Smart HDTV with a collection of over 300 top blockbuster movies, music concerts and musicals from the past 50+ years.
