Summary: Pros: *clean, welcoming breakfast space *quiet lakeside patio with plenty of seating *very nice front desk staff *comfortable bed and pillows Cons: *previous occupants' towel hanging on the bathroom door when we arrived *hole in ceiling where bathroom vent should be (photos) *mold and spiders in corners of room (photos) *bathtub spigot detatched (photos) and jacuzzi jets broken *carpets (hallway and room) have not been vacuumed in months *maple tree seedlings growing from broken gutters *trash cans on patio were so full they did not open, or full of black rainwater with decomposing cigarette butts and trash *windowsills thick with bugs, spiderwebs, and dirt that truly have not been cleaned in quite a while. (photos) *nonsmoking bedroom that was obviously smoked in prior to us *"lake view" window covered in dirt and spiderwebs (external and internal) *parking near the room did not feel safe I really wanted to love this place based on the photos and the genuine kindness of the front desk (I believe he was the only person working the three days we stayed), but had I been traveling alone, I would have opted for another motel despite having paid in full, nonrefundable through Hotels.com. I am not sure if this is a recent acquisition by Quality Inns, but it has slipped through the cracks of what quality embodies.
