This 3 Bedroom Cottage overlooks Bogue Sound on a placid lot in Newport, North Carolina off of Highway 24 between Atlantic Beach and Emerald Isle. There is a boat ramp in Morehead City less than 10 miles away. Wal-mart is less than 5 miles and there is an IGA within 1/2 mile. The Cottage has been fully renovated in July and August. There is WiFi for guest to use. We have a code entry to make check in and check out simple.
It has 2 bathrooms with towels and toilet paper. One bathroom has a tub shower combo and the other with a shower. A fully furnished kitchen with a dishwasher. One bedroom has twin beds, the second bedroom has a queen bed, and the third bedroom has a full bed and a twin bed. The cottage can sleep 7-8, a few more with furnished air mattress. In the living area there is a television with a Roku which allows for easy access to any streaming networks. A screened in porch sits on the back of the cottage overlooking the Bogue Sound. A back deck with chairs to enjoy the beautiful sunsets. It also holds a charcoal grill and grilling tools for your enjoyment. There is a water entrance. Water shoes are a must. We have completed construction on a 200 foot dock that can now be used for fishing or accessing the water. On high tide you are able to get a skiff up to dock. You can tie or anchor a skiff out in the water.
The Cottage sits on .83 acres which is big enough to play games or for kids to run around. There is a washer and dryer on property for guest use. There is also a canoe and kayak that can be used by guest. Must bring personal life jackets.
