Summary: My family and I had a fantastic weeklong vacation in the McKay home. The property had an abundance of amenities. We enjoyed fishing off the dock, kayaking, roasting marshmallows at the fire pit and when the rain came, we spent hours in the game room. The kitchen was well stocked with any cooking utensils needed as we did not go out to eat the entire week. The most delightful experience was the art décor of the home. The home was filled with art pieces created by the owner and their daughter. During our stay, we seen deer, several bald eagles and multiple species of butterflies in front of the home. Ross was a pleasure to work with! He provided easy check-in and check-out instructions as well as great communication from the day we booked until the day we checked out. Our family will definitely return to the McKay home as it’s the best we have stayed in during our past 16 years of going to lake Wateree. Highly recommended!!!
