When we say primitive, we mean just that!
Our family built a favorite little hiding spot in the woods and we wanted to share it with people that can enjoy it like we do. As home owners, we are on the property however, this cabin is private with an unbelievable view to the popular Mt. Sterling.
Our property is 12 miles from Cataloochie, 25 miles to Asheville, 25 miles to Midnight Hole ,15 miles to Cherokee, 24 miles to Max Patch Bald, 3 miles from Waterville Lake, 7 miles to Maggie Valley, 22 miles to Cherokee Casino, 15 miles from the Tennessee line, 67 miles to Dollywood.
Things you can enjoy while staying at this cabin…everything inside and outside we have built including a 8 foot hot tub. The pavilion and the cabin have full electricity and has a refrigerator, social bar, a fire pit (fire wood available), a black stone grill, gas grill, and picnic table along with cornhole boards. Enjoy a peaceful sleep, wake up, brew a pot of coffee, and enjoy the mountains we so love. Ride your horses right from the cabin if you are a rider. If you prefer you can attach a grocery list or what you like to inside your cabin and we can prepare for you or leave it for you to prepare for yourself. That’s right….if you prefer a cooked steak and a bottle of wine after your hike or fish in the Smokey mountains we are more than happy to have it ready for you. Our request is you treat our cabin as yours. Because this is our home our friendly pets will welcome you to the cabin. Treat them well as they will watch over you and protect you from outside critters during your stay.
Things you need to know about your stay:
This is a primitive camp. Meaning no running water is provided. You will have access to water and full use but running water is not accessible. There is a short walk from your vehicle parking to the cabin. Our bathroom is a outdoor on-site facility. If there is something that we can provide for you during your stay please let us know. We are more than willing to accommodate any need during your time.
In addition, any and all hunters, horseback riders and fisherman are welcome. Trust me-they will be at home!
