Lake information:
- The water level off the end of the dock is usually 12ft in the summer. It is typically 8ft at the ladder. These levels can be expected to decrease over the winter when the water levels on the lake are lowered. Please search for `Lake Murray Water Level` for more accurate information.
- Putnam`s Harbor Marina is probably the best place to put your boat in the water. You may not put in at the property. You can also put in at Hilton Recreation Area. Both of these are about 18 minutes from the property.
- The boat stored on the dock is NOT for guest use.

We are very close to the water and on a wooded lot, expect to see wildlife including bugs, lizards, birds, turtles, raccoons, squirrels, and the occasional deer. Regular pest treatments are done both inside and out but it is very easy for pests to slip into the house if doors or windows are left open.
Please note that if your stay is longer than 3 weeks, you will be required to pay an additional cleaning fee. This will be sent through a money request.

Summary: The stay was okay for a weekend lake getaway. Minor improvements needed. The vent on the floor in the kitchen needs to be fixed. It kept coming off, so we had to cover it with a rug to prevent anyone from breaking their foot. A floor board in the kitchen was unbalanced. That needed be covered also to prevent anyone from tripping over it. Minor dusting needed. The bathroom vents, and light fixtures had thick visible dust on them. Two blinds were broken. Although I clean even when I am checking out of a hotel, why is a cleaning fee included, then I am asked to clean the dishes before we checkout. The trash cans outside were also filled with trash.
