Just a few minutes away is Elk Knob State Park, featuring one of the park system's finest trails to spectacular views at the 5,520-foot summit. Tweetsie Railroad, ski slopes, Grandfather Mountain, High Gravity Adventures, river rafting, and many other attractions are available during your stay.
Thoughtfully arranged and decorated with comfortable furniture and a flat-screen TV, the main living area is a bright space with wood flooring and surrounding tongue-and-groove paneling. The dining table just beyond seats four (4), with additional space for two (2) at the lovely wooden bar. The attractive kitchen has granite countertops and all-new appliances. You can access the spacious deck with a gas grill and table with chairs directly from the dining room. A few steps off the porch, guests will find a private hot tub and a fenced-in yard perfect for dogs.
Directly off the living room is the master king suite with a private ensuite bathroom and a flat-screen TV. The second bathroom, a stacked washer and dryer, and a bedroom with two full beds are down the hallway. The house is pet-friendly for up to two dogs. The gravel road levels out and leads to a flat gravel parking area with a couple of steps up onto the front porch and main entrance.
