If you're looking for a guided experience, Headwaters is 15 minutes away and offers guided fly fishing trips. Kayaks and tubes are also available to rent so you can enjoy a day on the beautiful French Broad River.
You'll immediately feel at home when you walk through the door at Cottage in the Clouds. The kitchen is fully stocked for preparing meals and boasts a large table for gathering. Through the kitchen is a large living space with comfortable furniture, smart TV, and a gas fireplace.
To the right of the living room you'll find a bedroom with two full beds and another room with a sofa, workspace (perfect for remote work), games, and an additional smart TV. There is a full bath with a tub/shower combo in the hallway between the two rooms. To the left of the living room you'll find the master suite with a large king bed, spacious closet, and full bathroom.Between the living room and kitchen is a spiral staircase that leads to a cozy loft with two twin beds and a peaceful view of the trees.
Enjoy a cup of coffee on the large screened-in porch which features comfortable furniture and a gas firepit. The coziness of the porch, rustling of the trees, and sound of the birds is so peaceful and relaxing—you'll never want to leave! There are steps off the porch that lead down to a space underneath the house with a gas grill if you feel like cooking out.
