Amylee's Gerton Retreat is 30 minutes from basically everything. 30 minutes to downtown Asheville. 7 miles to Lake Lure & Chimney Rock. 30min to Hendersonville. 30 min to Black Mountain. There are major hiking trails too numerous to name. Minutes away from the Upper Hickory Trail head. The bonus is our home is located on Bearwallow Road which there are two award-winning hiking trails minutes away that are for beginners. Our location is ideal for a secluded and peaceful mountain home away from home Getaway. Exploring Western North Carolina. Our Neighborhood is safe to walk around and explore for some outdoor activity to witness Wildlife, streams, Waterfalls the most beautiful flowers & the greenies trees bluest skies in our countryside. Just make sure you SAY Howdy to all the people you see on the roads. It's a Gerton thing!! Here is a description of the property, and what you will have access to is everything that you see in the photos is all yours. This is your private hot tub photos show the size of the grounds. The photo of the house is to show you the size of the home, basically the lay of the land. The bottom level of this 4500 square foot estate has your rental unit on the first level. You have your own private driveway and entrance into the home. There is self check easy access lock box and accessible for wheelchair entrance on the-main level . Your Suite is the first door to the left. .Which also has a lock box for your private secure entry Consider yourself staying at a Cozy Inn, Yet your privacy is honored, considering the size of the spacious home & grounds you will feel like you are in your own private sanctuary. There is a larger suite on the bottom level that is three times the size also having private entrance/lock boxes this space which a long-term tenant/couple stays there they are very private they come and go as well. They help me at times with the cleaning they are truly part of my family, I occupy the top level of the home. This is my vacation home as well. I am not always here. I have my own driveway my own entrance this house was fit to do exactly what I do with it successfully & graciously ! sharing my estate  and giving opportunity for people to experience this ForestSanctuary with honor and respect to my guest in there Getaways still allow the privacy for my guest to enjoy the space in a semi-seclude environment. I am also happy to give recommendations of all the fabulous adventures restaurants hiking, museums festivals so many things are going on all different times of the year. inside your suite you have a king bed, space to hang clothes, dressers cubbies to put your clothes away & a futon that can be prepared before arrival for a third person it is firm comfortable it is like an oversize full size bed or can be used as a living room area if only two guest are staying in the space, .kitchenette consist of a coffee maker, I supply coffee and sugar, and tea. There is a Countertop confection oven, microwave, crockpot, refrigerator, utensils, dishes, drinking glasses, coffee, mugs, salt, pepper, oil, vinegar, napkins, paper towels, ice in the freezer it’s a kitchenette that is quite functional. You could definitely cook a meal. Plus you have the barbecue outside your door. full bathroom, shower tub, toilet, and a fabulous shelving closet in the bathroom as well for extra storage… you have your own mini split so you can control your heat and your air conditioning in your space as well. TV which she thinks she’s very smart… Lol who has time for TV when all the beauty is outside your door you have bistro table to eat inside on in your room & tables to eat on ouothere is a fire pit and a picnic table near there as well. I put a lot of thought a lot of effort into making the space feel like it’s your own and that’s exactly what it is...! . Mountain blessings, Amylee
