Summary: We stayed here about 7 years ago and loved it! Now it is in need of some serious TLC. The arrival/check in was the worst. I received a text at 4 telling me the cleaning crew wouldn't be done until 6. So, we waited 2 more hours. When we arrived at 6, the code to get in didn't work. I had to wait on hold for awhile before finally reaching someone who had me try 3 different codes. Upon entering, it was clear that nothing was cleaned. Sheets and towels were on the floor and kitchen was filthy. I spent my first night cleaning house and washing laundry. My bed quilt had a urine stain on it. The cleaning crew showed up at 7pm and I told them we have stuff everywhere and already started doing it ourselves. We did get refund for the cleaning. There was updated deck furniture and it was painted. That was great because you used to get splinters. It is perfect for pets with a completely enclosed porch/deck, but the deck needs repairs. There is a broken board on the pool deck. There were also so many flies/bugs outside that my husband hosed the all the deck/stairs of the whole house off with a Cutter product. It was not all bad. The walk to the beach is perfect. It's very close. We also really like the private road w/ little traffic, pool, hot tub, and extra fridge. Close to shops/restaurants. It has the potential to be such a great place.Not too big or too small. Shame the cleanliness and updates needed took so much away from the week. We would go back if some changes were made.
