The Scaly Mountain Cottage is located just 15-20 minutes from charming Downtown Highlands and Historic Clayton where you will find the most sought after restaurants, upscale shopping and the popular Dillard House. Horseback riding, zip lining and many other activities can also be found just a few minutes from the cabin. Experience country charm with all of today's modern amenities.
The guests will have access to the entire house. They will receive a code prior to arrival for entry.
This home is centrally located about 10-15 minutes from Highlands and Dillard ensuring that you will always have things to do or just stay and enjoy your relaxing mountain getaway! Enjoy the fresh mountain air from your furnished front porch, and then gather around the firepit out in the yard and watch the stars come out. Plenty of local hiking and waterfalls to see while in the area.
Guest will drive up back driveway (second driveway on the right), look for the rep reflector pole, follow the drive up until the road splits, take a right and the house will be the first right, sign in front to direct you. You will see signs directing you to the house with the house numbers on it.
When leaving the house make sure to go down the front driveway directly in front of the house. It is a little steeper than the back driveway that you came up but it is a one-way!
*Make sure you have the location plugged into your GPS. Service can get spotty up there so you will want the map already pulled up. When you get to the house you can connect to the wifi.*
