Delightful Tahoe cabin located just outside the city limits for peace and quiet , yet only minutes away from the casinos. This property backs up to forest service land so there are miles and miles of trails for X country skiing, snowshoeing, mountain biking or hiking. Bring your mountain bikes, ATV or snowmobile and head out for miles of fun. After a day of extreme exercise come home to an outdoor sauna and relax. Enjoy the gazebo in the summertime. Sauna is closed during fire season.

The space
This property is conveniently located 10 minutes from Heavenly and 15 minutes from Sierra at Tahoe. Located on quiet cul-de-sac yet minutes away from the casinos and the forest is your backyard. There is an outdoor sauna to "sweat" out the toxins and to relax you. Dogs are ok but there Is no enclosed backyard and they cannot be left unattended. There is an additional fee for pets which will be determined by the pet and length of stay. Please be aware of the coyote situation. Never leave your dog unattended outside. I ask that pets not be on the beds or furniture unless covered with a sheet. There are plenty of extra sheets to cover furniture or bedding. Please be aware that if there is damage to the property due to pets, ie: urine stains, you will be billed for carpet cleaning .
The kitchen is stocked with all your staples. We just ask that you replace anything that you deplete or want to donate ( except for refrigerated items).There is a cuisinart, blender, steamer, waffle iron, ice cream/yogurt maker, coffee maker and coffee grinder at your disposal plus all the basic cooking and baking needs.
There is a propane bbq available except for winter months.
Guest access
The garage will be unavailable. The upstairs hallway closet is also personal. I have had intrusions and stolen articles in the past. There are security cameras in the garage and closet now. There are no other security cameras.
Other things to note
There is a gas fireplace and forced heat. Hot water is on demand so you should never run out. There are plenty of games and puzzles in the closet and a card table. Please be kind to the next guests and put back all puzzle pieces and cards in their original boxes and cases.
The sauna requires wood which you will have to purchase or forage from the woods if not covered with snow.
If you have pets you must notify me prior to booking and there is an additional fee.
No toddlers please as there are stairs and home is not baby proofed.
No noise after 10 pm. SLT is very strict about this regulation.
Bears are an issue. Never leave food outside or in your vehicle. You must close all doors and windows when you are not present as bears will attempt to enter. This means all vehicles and the household.
The grill must be cleaned in order to not attract bears.
All trash must go in the bear receptacle.( up to open and down to lock). If bears damage the property due to non adherence of the rules, you will be responsible for the damage and costs .
If you use the washer, please note that there is no detergent receptacle, the detergent, which is supplied, should be dispersed on the bottom of of the tub prior to clothes insertion. The washer must be balanced in order for it to operate efficiently.

Never leave pets unattended unless crated.
If pets sleep on furniture please cover sofa and/or beds with a sheet. There are plenty of extra sheets available. Please be kind. No one wants to sit on smelly ,dirty furniture. I have two dog beds available in the laundry room that you are welcome to use as well. Housekeeper checks the rug with a UV light for urine stains. If your pet soils the carpet you will be charged for carpet cleaning.
Coyotes are about. Watch your pets at all times.
Pet fees are dependent upon length of stay of breed of dog.
