While you’re less than fifteen minutes from the attractions and nightlife of old downtown Fredericksburg, you’re refreshingly free of the crowds. Even better, you’re an easy five minutes from Luckenbach Texas, with its history and live music, and if you’re hungry, Alamo Springs café is also just a few minutes south – it’s home to Texas Monthly’s “Best Burger in Texas,” and more live music. Of course, if you came for the wineries, you’ll find them close-by, as well as the award-winning Altstadt Brewery.
Charming living/kitchen/dining areas are found on the first floor along with a bedroom with a full-size bed and bath. The second floor features another bedroom with a queen sized bed, sitting area, HDTV television and a bath with a grotto shower. The well-equipped kitchen is ready for you to cook your own gourmet meals, and there is a Keurig coffee maker for your use. We love the character of well water, but guests seem to appreciate the reverse osmosis filtered water system, too. For the summer heat a new ac/duct work has been installed to ensure you can cool off nicely after your day of adventure.
All linens are provided, and Wifi and Roku TV is included, so you can stream your favorite television and movies.
