Summary: We absolutely loved everything about this place! Nikki and Sean made us feel so welcome! We arrived to fresh out of the oven cookies followed by a golf cart tour of their beautiful, historic town. The breakfast was amazing and the afternoon Happy Hour was a delicious spread of local goodies that we had to search out to take home with us. You’ll want to spend the day on the front porch relaxing, but don’t miss walking around this historic town to see the beautiful homes and breathtaking waterfront. We even saw dolphins playing close to shore on our first day. We took the ferry to Beaufort which was a fun experience, and New Bern is only about a 30 minute drive and makes for a fun day trip! This is truly a hidden gem that we’d like to keep a secret, but it’s too good not to share!
