Positive: My family and I really enjoyed our stay. The house was spacious and clean. There is a lot of room, and with the way the bedrooms are set up everyone had their own private little space. We had four generations of family traveling together and it was nice to all have our own little areas.

Negative: 1) there were no outside porch lights left on and it was beyond dark when we got to the property. You couldn't see to find the lockbox for the key. And lights on a cell phone didn't help much because it was very dark (no moon the night we checked in). Thankfully the second car to arrive had a real flashlight with them. Inside the house was freezing when we walked inside. No heaters were on. Everything was set below 55 degrees. 2) none of the beds were made. Sheets were just laying in a pile on top of beds. While I can appreciate knowing the sheets on the beds are clean, it was a pain to have to make up seven beds and a trundle bed after driving 4 and a half hours. 3) There are no railings on the steps going up the porch. And the walkway going up to the steps is busted up cement and very uneven. 4) the hot water temperature is apparently set for the 10th level of hell. I like hot water but you can boil a chicken in the kitchen sink just holding under the hot water. In all seriousness, I was a bit nervous about how dangerous it is to have water that hot. All of the taps were like that - sinks, bathtubs and the shower. 5) there wasn't enough toilet paper. There were 4 toilets and each bathroom only had less than a roll of toilet paper. I didn't even check to see because I've never stayed somewhere where there wasn't an extra roll under the sink. The problem wasn't realized until 7pm the second night. I notified the property contact person who offered to have the cleaners drop off toilet paper the next morning. I get that he might not have been responsible for creating the issue (apparently new cleaners) but the next morning wasn't going to help when there was less than half a roll and 8 butts in the house. I sent my husband to get some from DG. The cleaners never showed up the next morning with anymore toilet paper so thankfully we didn't wait for them.
