Relax on the dock with a drink while your companion reads on the screened in porch. Enjoy a view of the lake from the queen sized bed in the master bedroom with ceiling fan, TV and bedside reading lamp. There is a king bed in the 2nd bedroom with ceiling fan, lamp leather chair. A twin size bed is on the enclosed sun porch. You will enjoy the full size kitchen stocked to cook any meal and a grill for cooking out while taking in the view. Digital cable on two TVs and wireless internet for surfing and checking your email. There is one bathroom on the main level, with a shower only. Washer and Dryer.
There is a comfortable den with two sofas with gas fireplace. The full size dining room table and chairs seats 8. Come enjoy our wonderful cozy cottage lakefront home. Located 25 minutes from USC and downtown Columbia and 1 and a half hour from Augusta National and the Masters! It is also VERY close to the Ballentine soccer fields! The cove is excellent for still waters for paddling, swimming and floating. The neighborhood is primarily year-round residents in very nice lake homes. The neighbors are friendly and welcoming to our guests. The Lake Murray Marina with Liberty on the Lake restaurant and boat rentals is just around the corner. Boat ramp is two doors down to launch your boat. The wide open yard and dock are great place for family reunions!
Soak in the wildlife, the birds will sing to you while the frogs croak their way in to your lake pulse. Savor your morning coffee on the dock while rocking to the easy cove waves of Lake Murray. Or enjoy the screened porch/deck with a game of cards or a crossword puzzle. There is a large back yard and on a quiet street and neighborhood great for a long walk or run. Dinner on the porch is fabulous and very relaxing. The neighbors are all full-time lake people. They like the solitude and quiet of this lazy dead-end street. Come enjoy the lake life from the quite-ness of the cove to the big water frivolities!
We selected this lakefront property because it was a precious cottage built about 1930 with old hardwood floors and character. It is very close to restaurants, shopping, nightlife and marinas. We are on a very quiet cove just around the corner from the big water. You will be 15 minutes from a large mall and 20 minutes to Riverbanks Zoo that rates in the top 5 in the country. Downtown Columbia offers many fabulous restaurants, museums, art galleries, live music and the University of South Carolina Gamecocks!

Summary: Our family loved this lake front property! There was plenty of space for 2 adults, 2 children, and our dog. The screened in porch was my favorite part! A great place to have your morning cup of coffee and an evening glass of wine! We will definitely return! Thank you Shanna!
