Incredible cottage - 10 Mins to Chapel Hill, UNCThis room with a queen size bed has a private parking and entrance and is just a short 10 minute drive from downtown Carrboro and Chapel Hill, 12 minute drive to UNC Chapel Hill, and 15 minute drive to UNC hospitals as well as a 20 minute drive to Durham. The home is nestled on over three acres of private, wooded land offering a quiet place to settle in.The guest suite is the bottom floor of our family home on a 3.5 acre wooded lot in a gorgeous and wooded area right outside the charming towns of Chapel Hill and Carrboro. JEEP SPRINGS QUEEN BEDEnjoy the comfortable queen bed with plenty of pillows in your suite-style getaway. Watch TV from bed! And get a huge kick out of the handmade bed fashioned from old Jeep springs. The bedframe sits on 4 giant springs.FULL BATHROOMThe full bathroom has a walk-in shower. We provide toiletries for your stay (shampoo, conditioner, body wash).KITCHENETTEThe kitchenette has a microwave, mini fridge, and coffee maker. We provide coffee, sugar, and tea as well as a basic assortment of silverware, napkins, and glasses. WORKSPACEThere is a desk in the unit if you want to get some work or writing done!SHARED LAUNDRYThere is shared laundry between the units, each with separate access and locking doors. You *may* see other guests or our housekeepers if you choose to do laundry, otherwise you won't see or interact with anyone at all.EXTRA BLANKETS & SUPPLIESFind an iron and ironing board, hangers, and extra blankets in pillows in the closet. We also have an air filter for the room.You'll have full and private access of the guest suite with its own bathroom and private patio overlooking the woods. Shared laundry is available should you want to use it. We provide laundry detergent.We'll be available through the app if you need help with anything!SEPARATE UPSTAIRS RENTALWe may occassionally have guests also staying upstairs. Each side of the house has its own private entrance (on opposite sides) as well as private parking in front of the entrance. NO SMOKING & NO PARTIESNo smoking, absolutely no parties. Excessive noise that disturbs the neighbors will not be tolerated. Quiet hours from 10pm - 8am.NO UNAUTHORIZED PETS.Pets allowed with pet fee and agreement to pet policy. All pets must be registered. Failure to register your pet will result in a $200 unauthorized pet fee.CANCELLATIONSThe cancellation policy applies to all bookings. An additional $150 cancellation fee will be charged to cover credit card processing and admin fees on all cancellations.RENTER'S AGREEMENTA signed renter's agreement is required for all reservations, as well as a picture of a government-issued photo ID and a picture of your credit card used to book showing only the last 4 digits and your name. This is to prevent credit card fraud and is meant to protect you as the renter and us as hosts.DEPOSITWe require a $300 deposit for each reservation, which will be processed 3 days before your arrival. As long as there is no unexpected damage to the home, deposits are automatically refunded in full in 7 days.PETS Pets are welcome with pet fee ($40 per pet), pre-approval, and pet policy agreement. NO UNAUTHORIZED PETS. A $250 charge will apply if you have not registered your pet(s) for your stay.
