Summary:
Welcome to High Rock Cabin, located in the northern region of the Red River Gorge. This cabin is situated in a private wooded setting with cliff and panoramic views. The Twin Arch development is nearby many local attractions. Come climb, hike, zip line, kayak, fly fish, or just enjoy a relaxing weekend in your own log cabin with a hot tub!
The Space:
High Rock boasts a gorgeous view, and must be accessed by climbing many stairs to the entrance. Once inside, there is a nice open floor plan and an awesome wrap around porch.
All of our kitchens are supplied with the basics. From forks, spoons & knives, to pots and pans, you should have no problem cooking. However, due to high volume of guests, things like to run off. If there is something you're missing in the kitchen, please reach out to us to make your stay a 5-star experience!

The Neighborhood:
Very close to the Nada Tunnel, private ridge on property backs up to Daniel Boone National Forest and views of the gorge! This cabin sits on a hill in a neighborhood-like establishment with others near by but is on its own lot.
Other Things to Note:
Each cabin is unique to specific items they include, however, RRG Getaways supplies the listed items below at all cabins as a baseline for guests. A starter amount of the following: hand soap, paper towels, toilet paper, trash bags, dish soap, dish pods, laundry pods, and basic cleaning supplies. Any additional items needed will be the guest's responsibility to supply. We do not supply anything considered perishable or consumable, this includes but is not limited to, coffee, salt, pepper, oil and the like.
Pets are allowed at this cabin. We charge a flat pet fee of $50 for up to two pets. Please be sure to add any pets to your reservation. If you do not see where to do so, reach out to us so we can apply our pet fee.
There is NO WiFi at this cabin. There are cell towers on the establishment and cell service is considered good. The TV is a smart tv and usable ONLY via guest’s cellular hot spot. There is a DVD player with a few DVDs and guests are welcome to bring their own selection.
This cabin has city water and is considered safe for all uses.
There is a charcoal grill located next to the fire pit. Guests are asked to provide their own charcoal, lighter fluid, and firewood if intending to use these amenities.
Please note, there might be construction projects nearby, primarily limited to weekdays and daytime hours. While we anticipate minimal disruption to your stay, occasional construction noise may occur. We do not have access or information on construction schedules.
Private parking at the cabin. Road that leads to the cabin is STEEP. The steepest sections are paved while the rest is well maintained gravel. The road is passable in a compact car with 2wd during normal conditions (icy conditions make this road difficult to navigate!)
