Retreat into nature on our 20-acre organic food forest! Have a fire under the stars. Swim laps in our saltwater pool. Take a barefoot hike. Pick berries in the summer, apples in the fall. Sleep to the sound of crickets, and wake to the sound of birds.
The Glamper is one of three vacation rentals on our hidden 20-acre food forest, only 15 minutes from downtown Asheville.
The newish Retro RV is set back into the forest, 200 feet from our house, with your own fire pit under the stars, and hiking trails right outside your door.
20-foot camper with comfy queen bed, fully equipped kitchen (minus dishwasher). Cold AC, hot propane heat, and your own wifi router.
This is a secluded, nature-immersion experience in the woods. It is VERY DARK here at night. We keep it that way on purpose. We like to see the stars and the fireflies and don't want to throw off our circadian rhythms or harm wildlife with light pollution. Not everyone is comfortable with this. The path to the hot tub and pool are lit with dim solar lights and flashlights will be provided.
We provide organic castille soap, cotton towels, and use organic cleaners and laundry detergent.
** POOL Open May-October. Open 24 hours as long as you are quiet and keep flashlights pointed down!
There is a spring water hot tub by the pool that is reserved for guests in our "Hot Spring House" cabin, but you are welcome to use it if it's not booked one of the nights you are here.

**Firewood available for $10 per 10-log bundle. You can collect your own kindling/sticks from the hiking trails, or we can get a fire started for you for $20.
**PICK-YOUR-OWN BERRIES: Help yourself to a few handfuls of black raspberries in late May and June, wineberries and blackberries in July, or a couple of apples or persimmons in August and September!
**DRIVE SLOW on our long, mountain, gravel driveway. It's not steep, but on rare occasion, you may encounter another guest, and whichever of you is closest to the top or bottom would need to back up a couple hundred feet.
** PET-FRIENDLY, BUT SUPER CLEAN: We have an awesome place here for pet owners (hiking and walking trails for dogs right outside your door). However, we do charge an extra $30 deep cleaning fee so the next guests won't find a trace of dog or cat hair. Please bring your own pet bedding, and note that stains or damages to linens, furniture or cabin will result in extra charges.
