Travel Purpose: business

Positive: It is a beautiful ancient property, we loved it. Once a pilgrim hospital, then an almshouse, now a delightful accomodation. It was so remarkable that people visit just to see the building (not the private rooms, of course). It is halfway along the High Street, a great location. We loved the antiquity of the building and our apartment was excellent. There is also parking available around the corner which was truly ideal.

Negative: We loved it, there was nothing we didn't like, but we love history and the past religious aspect of the Hospital. The apartment included a well-equipped kitchen, there was nothing to dislike at all. I would say that if you prefer modern hotels this may not be ideal, it's wonderfully ancient, and it does have sloping floors and table & chairs which we found charming, others just might not? When we booked we expected it to be good, it over-delivered on what we hoped for.
